I suppose I should start this with an introduction, My name is Sam, I am 30 as of writing this and currently working as a supervisor for a Contact Centre. The primary purpose of this blog is to chart my progress, learn and share with others learning programming and cybersecurity.

On the programming side – I have already done a year or two at university learning computer games programming and computer science. I have so far got some knowledge of Python, C++, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, SQL and Java. I have also used Unity, Py games and the Unreal engine for the game’s development side of my uni work.

Cybersecurity – I do have a few books on everything from ethical hacking, red and blue techniques and strategies, Malware analysis and memory forensics. My main interest is in the forensic and analysis areas, primarily learning how to acquire, analyse data and then come up with strategies to stop or at least mitigate the damage done in future.
